1. About these terms
These terms cover your use of remotebookkeepersllc.com, run by Remote Bookkeepers LLC (“Remote Bookkeepers”, “we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
They do not cover paid work. If you engage us, our written agreement with you sets the terms of that work (see section 5), and where the two differ, that agreement applies.
2. Using this website
You are welcome to read, share and link to this site. When you use it, please:
- give accurate details when you contact us, and only share other people’s information if you are allowed to;
- not try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site;
- not use the forms to send spam or anything unlawful;
- not copy the site’s content wholesale or present it as your own.
We may change, pause or remove any part of the site at any time.
3. General information, not advice
The guides and pages on this site explain bookkeeping, payroll and tax in general terms for US small businesses. They are not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice for your situation. Rules change, differ from state to state and depend on the facts of your business.
Please do not act on the website content alone. Talk to us, or to another qualified advisor, about your own circumstances. Reading the site, sending a form or having a free consultation does not make us your bookkeeper or advisor: that starts only when we both agree the scope and fee in writing.
4. The free books review and free consultation
Both are free, and neither comes with any obligation.
- Free books review
- You add us as your accountant in QuickBooks Online, Xero or other accounting software, and we send you written findings in about 48 hours. They are yours to keep whether or not you hire us. The review is our professional reading of your books: it is not an audit, it does not certify your financial statements and it is not tax advice.
- Free consultation
- A free intro call, booked through our online calendar (opens in a new tab), our contact page or by phone. No pressure, no jargon.
We may decline a request, for example if the work is outside what we do.
5. Paid work is agreed in writing
Before any paid work starts, we agree the scope and fixed fee with you in writing. That agreement sets out:
- the services we will provide and their scope;
- your fixed monthly fee, or the fixed price for catch-up or cleanup work;
- what we need from you, and when;
- how either of us can end the engagement.
There is no long-term contract. You can cancel any time, and cancellation takes effect immediately, with no notice period. For paid work, that written agreement is what applies between us, not this website.
6. Prices on this website
The prices on this site are “from” prices: Starter from $150/month, Growth from $350/month and Scale from $650/month. Each is the fixed monthly fee for a typical business in that tier.
Catch-up and cleanup work is quoted as a fixed price before it starts. If your volume grows a lot, any change to your fee is agreed with you in advance and is usually small, so an invoice never comes as a surprise. See pricing for what each tier includes.
